Technology is omnipresent. It is used in both professional and personal life. However, not everyone has the same chance or opportunity to become familiar with the different tools and uses of technology. This can result in less access to quality information, loss of professional opportunities, or obstacles in carrying out personal projects.
Altermonde seeks to reduce the digital divide and improve digital literacy by offering micro-training on specific technological subjects that meet your needs.
How does it work?
The one-hour virtual micro-training sessions focus on a skill you want to improve to reach your full potential. For example, best practices in facilitating remote meetings to help you in your work, synchronizing files in cloud computing so you don’t lose important files, creating a page layout and learning the basic features in Word to type your resume, etc. Rate $100 (includes preparation, training and post-training follow-ups).

What are the benefits of obtaining a technology micro-training from Altermonde?
Micro-trainings are designed specifically to meet your needs.
They are only offered virtually, which allows you to complete them wherever you are, although we offer them mostly throughout Canada. This also has the advantage of allowing you to go through the training using your own equipment, increasing your familiarity with your environment.
Micro-trainings are offered only individually or in very small groups of people you choose. This gives you the freedom to learn in a safe environment, where you have room to ask questions and try things out.
The maximum duration of one hour for each micro-training makes it easier to combine with your other obligations and allows flexibility to book a time that suits you.
Write to info at altermonde.ca to let us know your needs and book your own micro-training.
